Third largest dive market in the U.S.

Northwest divers are renowned for their passion for the sport and local environment. The show is open to the 14 million residents of the Pacific Northwest and 200,000 of them are certified divers. The region is a gear intensive environment with an avid local community where exciting dive locations exist in their backyards.

Active Dive Community

  • 50,000 residents actively dive in Washington State annually. (NOAA 2005 study) 23,000 travel to Washington from other states to dive.
  • The PNW is ranked among the finest cold-water dive sites in the world (NOAA recreation Study 2005).
  • This area features 170+ retailers, 100+ dive clubs and 40+ dive charters and resorts.

90 percent of all divers report that they only want to dive in warm water. Numerous tropical trips are scheudled by our divers.
